WebTView Names Reuven Avi-Tal as Chairman

WebTView Ltd. announced today the appointment of Reuven Avi-Tal as Chairman.

2009-02-04Mr. Reuven Avi-Tal, 62, a seasoned executive with over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry and over 20 years in CEO positions. Prior to WebTView, Mr. Avi-Tal joined BRM Group to found Israel Growth Investors (IGI), a Private Equity Fund in early 2005.

Prior to IGI, Reuven served as the President and CEO of Telrad Networks Ltd, a telecommunications company controlled by Koor (Nasdaq: KOR) and was chairman of several of its subsidiary companies.

Previously, he was President and CEO of Matav – Cable Systems Media Ltd, a former cable company that has become a prominent investment company in telecommunications, from 1989 to 1998, with the exception of mid 1993 to mid 1994, when he was Managing Director of Tempo Beer Industries, a public company which has strategic relationship with PepsiCo and Heineken N.V.
